7 Days – The North – From Male’ to Haa – Diving

This route is famously known as the extreme North. Embark on a ten days adventure from Hulhumale’,  which will be your starting and ending point. Your cruise will head north-ward, mooring at night in Rasfari lagoon where your first morning dive will  take place.  

Afterwards cruising will continue northward to Baa atoll where you can find peculiar dive sites characterized by abundance of hard and soft corals with the atolls highlighting Hanifaru Lagoon where from  May to November an exceptional mount kreel attracts schools of mantas along with whale shark for  feeding. 

On this route seasonally, you can also spot pelagic fish including grey reef sharks as the safari will  continue cruising north-eastward to reach lhaviyani atoll whose uniquie shape and position features  oceanic channel dives giving a chance to dive with in-coming currents. The marine protected area of our next spot “Fushifaru Thila” becomes a spectacular manta point. 
Our journey and cruise will continue on from there and go further north across Noonu and Shaviyani  atoll which has offer amazing and new dive sites to discover as vast areas of these atolls were only  recently open to tourism. Un-spoilt and untouched thilas with overhangs and caves, soft coral gardens, eagle rays and occasional  grey reef sharks can be spotted.
