North Male’ is also a haven for any novice fisher unlike your next stop in this Journey Baa Atoll  where you can enjoy a few different types of fishing such as big-game tactics or simply opt for  bottom fishing and witness grouper, job fish, white snapper, barracudas or even emperor fish. 

But when it comes to snorkeling or diving in Baa Atoll you will find that this atoll deserves its  UNESCO status with its diverse marine life around its reefs, thilas (submerged islands),  overhangs and swim throughs and Star shaped canyons are found in the middle, which are  covered in hard and soft corals, are found on the reef’s walls. These reefs become cleaning  stations during manta season attracting many travellers to Baa Atoll year-round. 

Baa Atoll is also known as one of the spots where you can swim with at Hanifaru  Bay, but that’s not all thats attractive about Baa as this Atoll offers the exploration of many  uninhabited island and sandbanks where you can just lounge under the sun or snorkel in the  island or sandbank reef with colorful corals and many a pelagic fish. Baa Atoll also offers you the opportunity to visit the local islands and  immerse in the Maldivian culture and learn a few different crafts.
